Summary
Combines Bachelors in Business Administration with over 18 years of business
management and marketing experience. Currently seeking project management, consulting, design or sales
work on a part or full time basis or an executive position in a
market-leading company that will utilize my management and business skills while allowing me to manage projects from home.
Professional Skills
-
Leadership - I motivate employees through my hard work ethic, my
passion for increasing company profits and repeated successful examples
of the team approach. I deliver company results and employees and bosses
alike follow my lead because my approaches work. I find ways to improve
team atmosphere and increase efficiency in every work environment I go
into. I spent 8 years at Global Reach Inc., most of which as
VP of Operations, a position with great autonomy where I had the ability
to make an annual multi-million dollar difference in the organization.
-
Sales & Marketing - After several years of experience as a sales
and marketing director, I've also gained experience in many other jobs,
including entrepreneurship since age 8. I am able to sell and represent
any product to any audience. I'm also a tough negociator who can
always get the best price.
-
Project Management - I have been creating and managing profitable
internet web sites since 1998 when I started rankhigh.com. I have
since created and managed over 200 profitable web sites. I am very
technologically savy and able to manage programming, marketing, webmasters
and technical projects.
-
Entrepreneurship - As an entrepreneur for many years, I am able
to locate opportunities, make realistic goals and follow through to profitability.
I ran a popular pet sitting service for 5 years in middle/high school and
ran a moving business during the busy seasons in college. I have
been running my own web site marketing business since 1998 harnessing residual
income through the search engines and other marketing means. I recently
launched a sign shop and web design studio.
-
People Skills - My degree and my experience are usefull assets when
it comes to managing staff. Having spent much time at every rung
of the ladder and worked with many diverse groups and personalities, I
can work with challenging employees such as webmasters, programmers and
network admins as well as the 'regular' 9 to 5 staff. I build excellent
relationships with customers and suppliers. I am very patient
and love taking the time to train employees to do their job well and efficiently.
I constantly encourage my staff to learn and utilize new skills.
-
Computer Knowledge - I've been managing internet businesses for
many years. I know a lot about network issues and configurations,
fixing hardware problems, optimizing web graphics, web site management,
creating and editing photos & movies and basic programming (asp, php,
databases, dhtml, javascript, java). I can code html by hand, update dns,
administer UNIX and Windows servers, install CGI scripts and more.
-
Languages - I can speak English and French fluently. I also
have basic knowledge of Spanish and Latin.
